Your Right to Data Deletion
At BriefMyDoc, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, the following will be permanently removed:
- Account information: Your email address and profile data
- Uploaded documents: All documents you have uploaded for analysis
- Analysis results: All generated summaries, insights, risk assessments, and audio briefings
- Q&A history: All questions and answers related to your document analyses
- Usage data: Any usage logs associated with your account
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal and compliance purposes:
- Payment records: Transaction records may be retained as required by tax and accounting laws
- Legal obligations: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: In-App Deletion
You can delete your account directly from the BriefMyDoc app:
- Open the BriefMyDoc app
- Go to your Profile / Settings
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion
Option 2: Email Request
Send a deletion request to sales@xigmapro.com with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your BriefMyDoc account
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Important Notes
- Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you have any active subscriptions, they will be cancelled upon account deletion.
- You can create a new account after deletion, but your previous data will not be available.
