By accessing or using BriefMyDoc (the "Service"), operated by XigmaPro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BriefMyDoc is an AI-powered document analysis service that helps users understand complex documents. The Service provides:

  • Document upload and AI-powered analysis
  • Plain-language summaries and key insights
  • Risk identification and important clause highlighting
  • Audio briefings of document analyses
  • Interactive Q&A about your documents

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload documents containing malware or malicious code
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without authorization
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload documents that you do not have the right to analyze

5. Document Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant BriefMyDoc a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze the document solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your documents or the content within them.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

BriefMyDoc is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The analyses, summaries, and insights generated by our AI are for informational purposes only. They should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, financial, or other expert advice. You should always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on any document.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated analyses may contain errors or omissions. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any analysis.

7. Payments and Refunds

  • Document analyses are available as per the current pricing displayed in the app
  • All payments are processed securely through our payment provider
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Server or infrastructure issues
  • Third-party service disruptions (e.g., AI provider outages)

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding user-uploaded documents), is owned by XigmaPro and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefMyDoc and XigmaPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BriefMyDoc and XigmaPro from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
